| 2 lb precious pup with a broken leg Tuesday Morning around 12:42 my 2 yr old Yorkie who is in heat bit my little 2 lb yorkie in the hind leg just because she walked too close to a toy she had been playing with. Angel was telling her to get away or else, well the or else happened. Little Harmony was crying and shaking and so freightened. I just held her I didn't notice the blood from the injury on her leg. At first I thought she was just injured because when I went to stop the aggressive behavior Angel fell down on her. I took her to the vet when they opened at 8am and he shaved the wound and it was swollen so badly. He then took an x-ray and showed me the bad news 2 broken metatarsal bones weight baring bones. They splinted it into a make shift cast and gave her pain medication.Yesterday she ate and probably walked aorund too much. Now I have to worry about infection and it healing as properly as it can. The bones were fairly well approximated for placing the splint on. I feel so sorry for her and I am so mad at Angel but I know it was an accident. |

YT Graphic Artist Donating Member | Aw, the poor little thing! I'm sure it was an accident. Those girls in heat can be real *Bitches* sometimes -- and I say that with love, because I have a girl in heat right now, and she is so moody sometimes. I hope she heals up fast!!

| Little one's leg is healing well .she is trying to shake off he cast and the cast has not slowed her down one bit. No infection. I put the other dogs up in crates and in my living room and I let her out and the one that bit her goes nuts. If Harmony goes over to her crate and sniff, she will get growled at and jumped at from inside the crate. Harmony turns and runs off away from the crate. I was hoping the two of them sniffing each other with the crate between them will help them be able to reassociate them. I don't think that is going to happen. |

| Maybe if you spayed them they would get along better than they are now? Poor little thing! I can't imagine getting bit hard enough to break a leg. Hugs to her!!
