| Peanut butter and jelly? Advice, please Yesterday my sneaky little guy ate the peanut butter and GRAPE jelly sandwich that I made for lunch and forgot. I didn't know until I got home from work 10 hours later. So far he seems okay. Lazy-acting, but with a belly that full, I am not surprised. He burped all night, but sure was not hungry at dinner time. Would one sandwich have enough jelly in it to harm my boy? He weighs 7 - 8 pounds. Would the bread hurt him? How long will it be before he is out of the woods from eating this sandwich? |

| The bread won't hurt. One sandwich could most likely hurt a Yorkie. Is he peeing okay? Some dogs go into renal failure from grapes and some don't. When in doubt, ask the vet to do blood work.

| yeah i'd call your vet... the bread and pb won't hurt him... as for the jelly...a lot of it may be artificial so maybe won't hurt him so much just make sure that he's peeing normal and everything...i think at least for peace of mind, get a blood work up done by your vet
