| tongue sticks out My Lexi has her tongue sticking out half the day with her mouth closed. She is three months old and we have had her 3 weeks. She has done this from the beginning and although it is really cute I wonder if it is something to be concerned about. My vet saw it and commented that she was so cute so I did not ask if it was normal. Have any of ya'll seen or heard of this? Judy |

| I'm glad I saw this. Chloe does this a few times a day and I wondered why.

| I think its because their jaw line is either a bit overshot or undershot. My Bell does that too and her mouth is a tiny bit undershot.

| Chewy is famous for this!!! In every pic his tongue is hanging out. I heard it's just that they are so small and their mouths are too small to hold the tongue all the time. Don't know if it's true. You have nothing to worry about. |

| Hefner' tongue is also too long for his mouth. It is common with yorkies. I think it is cute. |

| Mine has never done this. I know of another girl who has a yorkie that does this but that's only because she's lost a lot of her teeth and there's nothing there to hold her tongue in! Poor thing. She was a rescue. But mine never sticks her tongue out at me. Maybe it's just a personality thing, haha. |
