Default Loose Tooth - Barely Attached!

Probably not for sick & injured forum...

Kayla has a loose puppy tooth, it's literally attached by one strand of whatever it is that holds it there. It's driving her mad, she's pawing at her mouth, trying to bit it, rubbing her face one things and just trying to get it out. I know with a little tug it would just come off but I guess that's not the right thing to do. Short of holding her and stopping her from doing herself any damage with her paws what can I do to help her... poor puppy is going nuts!

Doogan just went through this with his canine tooth and it drove him NUTS! Try playing fetch or tug of war with her that's what worked with Doogie and it came out easily.

That's the tooth that is driving her mad too! It's that loose it's been hanging out the side of her mouth, laying on her tongue, it's sooo loose. I wish it would just fall out.

I'll play some tug of war with her and see if that helps.

Is it out yet? I use a small piece of paper towel so the tooth doesn't slip out of my fingers and just give it a little tug. If it doesn't come out then give her something hard to chew, like a bully stick, or play lots of tug-o-war

Well I was gonna have a little tug on it to see if it would come loose but then I spotted she was chewing on a bone so I let her do that and when I just looked it was gone! Can't see it anywhere either.

Problem solved!

Yep, Kayla's tooth is under the pillow in her puppy basket. I have a feeling the fairy will leave a nice chew under there.

YAY I am so happy your problem is resolved. When one of Bleus teeth were loose it did the same thing to him drove him nuts then shortly I looked down and it was right in front of him and I got it and saved it and the toothie fairy came!! It was so cute little and white. I talked about that everyday for a few days. IT WAS NEAT WHEN HE LOST HIS FIRST TOOTH

Glad to hear that the tooth finally came out. Same with Cassiopia, during one week she had 3 teeth that came out. Once with my assistance (a little gentle pulling), another one when she was chewing on a bully stick, and the last one fell out when my dh was playing tug of war with her.
