Awwww, poor little Maya!

I am so sorry that she is sick girl...I feel so darn awful for her! And you too because I know how it is for us mommies when our babies aren't feeling well....it just totally breaks your heart

What a good mommy you are for going to lay down with her - you are so sweet Jenny

Give her hugs, kisses and snuggles from the babies and I. I will say a little prayer that she does well through the night and that she will not have to stay at the vet's with an IV

Hopefully everything will clear up shortly - keep us update sweetie!

Awww Jenny thank you for the update. Let's hope the virus will go away soon and you won't need to take her back in.

I am glad she doesn't have worms. Poor little thing, I am sure she's going to get lots of love and kisses from mommy.

She sure needs to get better soon so she can open up the presents from her SB!!!

Poor thing. I hope she is feeling better soon. You be sure to take care of yourself too. Won't do either of you any good if you come down sick from worry.

We had a rough night .... Maya is not doing to good this morning ! I did give her the meds and the food but she was not to interested in it last night .... so this morning I gave her rice and cheese and she ate it all .... she is still not drinking to much .......

My Hubby stayed up with her half of the night takeing her outside and making sure she is alright .... ..... he is very worried about her .... there snuggling on the sofa .....

She is pooping pure blood this morning and I am worried .... a lot !!! My Vet App. is in about 4 hr. .....

Jenny, My friend just recently had the same bloody type of diarreah and then just blood and her chihuahua had HGE, Hemorrhagic GastroEnteritis. Here is a link with info on HGE, Veterinary Q & A - Hemorrhagic GastroEnteritis (HGE) in Dogs
Maybe you can ask your vet about it, her dog had to go on an IV and antibiotic and stay overnight at the vet, her dog was back to normal in about 3 days. Good Luck, I wish you nothing but the best!!

Oh no! Poor Maya! I am just now seeing this thread...you are in my thoughts and prayers. I see you posted at 12:54 am my time and it's about 2am now so hopefully the next couple hours go quickly until you can get back to the vet.
