| my dog just puked! so, i just posted before about how much benadryl to give my dog. i gave her 1/2 a pill of a 12.5 pill........ she was acting normal..... just about 10 minutes ago i notice that she was scratching a lot more (she has some rashes.......i believe an allergic reaction to something!). I was holding her so she won't be tempted to scratch and her WHOLE body started to act weird.......she puked.....twice! should i take her to an animal hospital? or should i let the benadryl try to work its course? I don't know!!! HELP! |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Isn't this the baby you posted about last night who has blisters that may be hives? Is this the very first dose of benadryl you've given? Has she seen the vet yet???

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | The doctor always told me to give Joey liquid children's Benadryl. Did you give one half of an adult tablet? Did the vet advise this? Nevermind, I just read your other posts, sorry I can't help, I would take him to a vet.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | I guess you left right away? I think you need to take this dog to the vet ASAP. I think your dog may be having an extreme allergic reaction as evidenced by possible hives. With your dog also vomiting and have diarrhea, she could really be in an emergent situation. Allergic reactions can turn deadly.
