| Please pray for my Roxy Hi. I joined YT about one month ago. During that time I have been touched by how this group prays for one another. Now I am asking for prayer for my Roxy girl. For the past 3 weeks or so, she has been pulling up her right leg off and on. She has never cried out and it has never slowed her down, so I thought maybe she had just pulled something while she was playing and I would keep an eye on her. Last week I went ahead and took her to the vet. They did x-rays and diagnosed her with Legg Perthes disease and said she needed an FHO (Femoral Head Osteo - something - they wanted to cut off the ball of her hip.) This morning she had her second opinion appointment, and this vet said that without a doubt she agreed with everything I had been told. They both gave me the name of the same specialist in Sun Valley, so I called him after her appt. today. He just called back and said that he can get her in tomorrow morning. I truly believe this is the right thing to do. He is the best at what needs to be done. She is having a rough day today - she hurts - and it isn't going to get better. By waiting, her muscles will continue to atrophy, and she will suffer more with arthritis. I'm just scared. As all of you understand, she is my baby. In the past 4 weeks, she has gone from 4.8 lbs to 4.6 lbs. I am so scared of losing her. Please pray for God to be with her medical people and help them to make all of the right choices, and for Him to be with her, and let her come through this and feel like her old self. She is the sweetest little dog I have ever met, and she doesn't deserve to hurt. I believe in the power of prayer - especially in numbers, and I know you are the group who will make and take the time to pray for Roxy. Thank you!!

| Your doing the right thing by having the surgery soon. She will be just fine afterwards. It takes a few weeks to heal and if you keep her from running around she will mend in no time. Hugs and prayers will go out to your baby!

| Our Yt Prayer For Roxie And Mommy Heavenly Father we gather together , all whose hearts are calling out to You on Roxie's behalf. We hold her up to you Lord and ask that you will be present in the surgery room, guiding the surgeon's hands, instructing everyone who will be assisting. We ask that you will be there to gently whisper for her to wake up when the operation is finished. We pray for a successful outcome and , in no time at all, a happy healthy Roxie. Lord, we ask that you will fill Roxie's mommy with faith and peace, knowing that her baby is in your hands and that nothing is impossible for The Lord our God and those who believe. We thank you for hearing our prayer, In Jesus name Ahmen |
