| Piece of grass in I Help Carlos has a piece of grass stuck in his eye what do I do? I am freaking out!

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | You can flush the eye with water - it won't be pleasant, but it's what you need to do. If you have a small bottle - you could fill it w/ water and squirt it at the eye. Or, use the spray spout on low under the sink. If you have saline solution, you could also use that.

| I used the saline solution and it came out. I was really freaking out because It was a big piece and I thought something was wrong with his eye. Thank you so much for the help. It always nice to know you have somewhere to go when you have a problem and need answers.

| Watch for any signs of a scratched cornea. My dtr's yorkie Gremlin just had a ulcerated cornea from a blade of grass. It is healing fine after meds but it was scary for a couple of days.
