| Spaying Information Hello All, My 5 month old yorkie, Kisses got spayed on July 12th. She was doing fine but I looked at the incision on Monday and it seems like its getting infected. I called the vet and he said if it gets worse to give him another call and it's probably nothing to worry about. However, she started to throw up yesterday and has done it twice since then. Should I be worried and rush her to the vet or should I just wait it out as the vet suggested? Please help me I'm so worried. |

| If I were you, I would definitely give the vet another call.

| The vet can't possibly know whether or not she should be seen by a phone call because something may not be being described to him/her. I would wonder why they don't want to see her and if you end up taking her and there is a problem, I would be very upset that they didn't insist on seeing her after your first call. After Ellie's spay I didn't like how her incision looked twice and both times they saw her for free the same day or the day after. As for the throwing up with it, I'd go to the vet as soon as possible. Welcome to YT
