![]() If it was a day after the steak, it could've been that. Pancreas issues come to mind if that is when it happened. Was it fatty? Since all three of them had a problem, I have no idea what it could be. All three wouldn't get pancreas problems at the same time... As far a Gatorade, that is fine but check all ingredients carefully for artificial sweeteners. I think PediaLyte would be easier (store brand is much cheaper) to get just the right thing. Pediasure is good but I think it contains a corn derivative.

| I hope that cutie will be feeling better soon. It may not be, but, I was told that when the poop is really stincky (worse than normal) that it's a good sign of coccidia. I hope you can get her in to the vet soon. A little yogurt may be ok if she's not vomiting.

All Ellie did when she had it is throw up about 8 times. She acted okay otherwise for the most part. Since the other two had some sort of the same thing though, pancreatitis wouldn't be my first guess. She has been sick for over 24 hours and had white gums earlier. I think she needs to see a vet.

| We just wnet through this with our 2 yr old Maya, Get your dog checjed out and read read tge following, just to make sure it's not HGE. HGE or HEMORRHAGIC GASTRIC ENTERITIS -- is particularly dangerous to the toy and smaller breed dogs. Any kind of bacterial diarrhea can quickly dehydrate a dog, and the tinies are at greater risk, as they have little weight to lose before they are dehydrated and need IV rehydration. Your dog can get infected anywhere. Then it can be from 2-10 days after exposure, that your dog can come down with this problem. The symptoms start with vomiting, lethargy, refusing to eat, and progressing to mucous covered stool, loose stools, severe diarrhea and bloody diarrhea. It is important to have a culture done first so that you know exactly what bacteria you are treating, and get them started on antibiotics. DO NOT waste time, especially with the tiny toy dogs , as they do not have the spare fluids to lose thru diarrhea, especially bloody diarrhea. |

Wow i didnt know about that...thanks for letting me know. She is fine now but i will ask the vet anyway to check for this, she did have mucus covered poop before, not anymore though. But she didn't lose her appetite really, she is back to eating her food. I'm watching her to make sure she's doing okay with it.
