Default HELP bloody dirreah

Darrall and I just got home to find teddy(who was restricted in the kitchen) with dirreah all over the floor and blood on the floor. In the past week he has ate wire from a wii controller, part of a cd case, and has gotten into the trash(all while we were gone.. this is NEW behavior). The emergency vet you have to pay 100 dollars JUST to see a doctor and we don't have that and his vet office is closed until 9 what should we do?

There's no getting around it, sounds like your baby needs medical attention to me. Best of luck, I will be praying.

unfortunately they can't see him until tomorrow. We can't afford the $100 dollars JUST to see the vet at the other vet places and banfields walkins start at 1pm and darrall has to go to work at 1pm(he's military there's no"sorry can't work today" with him) I was told to just monitor him and see if he does it again and if he does to go to an emergency room. But now we doesn't want to eat and last night he wouldn't come out of his carrier(after his bath) so my husband laaid down infront of it with the gate open and teddy fell alseep on his hand. Now all he wants to do is lay in his bed or inmy lap.. but when he was outside he wanted to jump around and place and same when it involves my husband.

Default blood in stool

Sounds like he's in pain. Can't someone get you a ride to a vet?

He ingested metal and something jagged (from the cd case). This could be LIFE threatening. I'm sorry to say this, but: I think, at this point, you need to decide whether or not you're willing to risk his life. Because he may very well BE at that point if there is a jagged CD CASE piece ripping at his insides or metal poisoning or who knows *what* from the trash. I'm sorry, but those are the facts.

my husband is trying to get them to let us take him to the vet. At least now teddy is drinking water. i wanted to give him one of his left over pain pills from being neutered but Darrall suggested that I don't incase they run tests on him. But all teddy wants to do is laydown and drink water.

I agree with Darrall I'm not sure I would give him the pain medications until he gets checked out first. I hope that you can get Teddy into the vet today.

I was trying to get them to make an exception at 10am but they wouldn't and with how work is with darrall.. 98% of his squadron is on aboat det he's not because he had to go see a retna specialist and so it's him and one other guy that aren't even able to do anything because the jets are on the boat so I'm hoping they will let him go for an hour or so.

P.s My husband is a plane captain. his job is maintaining the jet, launching the jet and bringing it back

Default ingestion

a friend of mine had a dog that had similar symptoms and nearly died..the vet finally went in and if he hadn't he said she would have died..guess what they found ? Her topnot bow..it was blocking her intestines. Fortunately it wasn't sharp. The vet said another day and she would have been dead. First I was notified as I am the breeder and the vet at first inspection thought pancreatitis.. so no more top knot bows.

igot him in.. he got a virus from the garbage and is on 2 antibiotics and somethng to help witht he dirreah(though he didn't have it today but it looked like it wasn't far away) and he got his bordetella vaccine.. so now he is all vaccinated and good.. he doesn't like the bland food he has to eat.. my husband has to act like he's going to eat it to get teddy to be like NOO!! (scarfs down) I think we might buy some chicken and boil it and give him that instead of the whole canned prescription food. he also is being playful which is god becaue before he didn't even want to move the only thing that got him up was the idea of a car ride but as soon as we walked into the vets office he started beign playful.. he loves the vet.. such a weird dog.

Why in the world would the vet give your baby bortedella when he is sick??? That is not a good vet. You don't give vaccines when a dog is ill!!

These little babies are into something constantly. I have to watch ours like a 2yr.old toddler. I try to know pretty much what she is in to all the time. Even a change of food can cause blood in the stools. They are so little you have to be really careful. Watch the blood sugar too. When they are sick they can go into hypoglocemia so easy. I hope he gets to feeling better, poor little guy. That vet doesn't sound very swift to me either. Good luck.

My reaction exactly! Vaccines can be very hard on their little bodies. They never should be given when a dog is sick.

he's not very small he's 15lbs though he doesn't look it. But he's been doing well except when we were taking him with us to the store(we don't want to leave him alone) some freaking moron inone of the apartments left pieces of chicken wings in the parking lot and my husband didn't see them(he is practically blind at night when it comes to things) and we got part of it out of his mouth but some of the bone he swallowed so now we're worried about him. It seems like everything is just against teddy. but we have to return that prescriptino food to the vet because teddy HATES it and we're just going to boil chicken and rice. I mean that canned food you hold it to him and he runs away from me.. not even treats sprinkled on it worked.

I dunno why they did the vaccine he was going to get it on the 3rd. but they insisted on doing it today and he's my first dog so I didn't know it would have a negative effect on him. He did throw up this afternoon but hasn't since.
