| Dog ate cat hairball? I have a yorkie that eats everything including my cat's hairballs that they throw up. I think there's a possibility that my yorkie has eaten one and it may be causing some digestive issues such as pooping. Any suggestions of what I can do? She's eating and drinking and playing but she poops small pieces or has a little diarrhea off and on. Should I try giving her cod liver oil or butter or something to help the possible hairball exit?

| Sorry don't have an answer for you but I would think that cod liver oil would help. Someone should come on soon to answer.

Donating YT 10K Club Member | Sometimes I wished I didn't open threads...hairballs...ewww. Sorry I have the dog that eats everything and CATS.... I think I'd call the vet's before giving her cod liver oil...the oil is really gonna loosen up her stool...perhaps too much. I'd check with them first.... Btw, Reggie is a cute name.

| I just got home and found that my cat threw up on my carpet and Rylie of course grabbed and swallowed the hairball too! I would worry if it was large as it could possibly cause a blockage...but it will most likely move on through... gross though

| If you put a teaspoon of organic apple cider vinegar into your baby's water will help with not only digestion but also with make hair shinier and nails stronger. It will also prevent ear mites. There are many wonderful side effects of ORGANIC apple cider vinegar to both humans and animals. Try it. |
