| non yorkie advice--TICKS Hi ..I need some advice...A dog wondered over to my Mom's back door, she lives in a counrty setting...The dog would not leave, So I went and got her, some sort of lab mix maybe...Here's the dilemma...She is covered in ticks I have been spending the whole day and most of the evening picking ticks..I got her on a dose of frontline and they are falling off ..Im mean her body is covered 85%...She is a very sweet girl..Now Im afraid my yard is going to be infested...the ticks are a greyish color...has anyone ever encounted this before...we have tried all day to find her owners..I haven't had much experience will large dogs..Thanks Margaret

| aww poor doggie. I'd take her to the vet and get a flea dip, i would think that would help. Maybe put up posters in town w/ the dog's description. You are too sweet to spend all that time and energy helping that poor dog. :-) I'm sure he's very thankful for such caring person helping him. I'd do the same thing if that happened to me, but so many people just wouldn't take the time. HUGS

| Having so many ticks can be serious. I believe they can become anemic. I would definately take her to the vet. Before you end up with a ton of vet bills. |
