Hi there Everyone,
Well we just got back from our revisit from Doc Paul.. He got a call back from Dr.Lampman(Babybear's surgeon) and it is not good.. Babybear does need surgery.. I am so heart broken.. This is what I was so not hoping for.. I have all I can do to write this through the tears..
I have a consult with Dr.Lampman on Wed. June 25 at 9:00 AM then the reseptionist said they could do his surgery that afternoon.. I told her I dont' know if there is going to be a surgery or not.. Hubby said no more surguries we can not afford it.. So after the consult I will be talking to Dr.Lampman about what we have for options.. While Babybear continue to be in pain of he doesnt' have the surgery.. Will the surgery help him walk??SO many questions to ask.. Right now I am just trying to soak it all in.. OMG WHAT DO I DO??

I have spent so much time getting him better to have such a set back is just killing me.. I am so glad I have a big extended family right to help me through this.. Last time I went through it alone..
I will try to write more later.. It is just to hard to write right now..Please forgive me..
OH and Babybear is still in a little pain but he is now moving his neck a little better..Doc Paul thinks the meds have helped him so he is not in as much pain right now.. He made sure I had plenty of meds to get him through the weekend until I saw Dr.Lampman.. AGain I will try to come back later to write more.. Thank you all again for all of your prayers and all your warm thoughts..

I am so sorry the news is not good. I hope their will be better alternatives besides surgery. I am glad he is doing better. Can't they keep him on the meds? Id he can move his neck then that seems like a very good sign.

I will continue to pray for Babybear, and send out good thoughts to him and his family.

Yes, you do have a lot of support from us! The least we can do is pray for Babybear!!
Please try to get some rest yourself too, afterall you have a family to take care of too!
Don't feel bad about not being able to write, this is the least of your concerns!

OMG Val, what awful news for BabyBear. I hope there is another
alternitive. You and he have been threw so much already.
Did you know there was a possibity that
something like this could occur after his last surgery?
What heartbreaking news. I am upset for you.

Oh no I am so sorry. I will pray that they can come up with an alternative to surgery that will allow Babybear to live without pain with some medicine. You have been through so much to have to go through this again. You are in my prayers as well.

I have a dear friend that has started a candle ceremony for Babybear.. If anyone that would like to light a candle for him and say a pray or give your well wishes here is the link Group *WBBB* Candles - Light A Candle..
he will be getting the surgery that is needed.. Many friends want to help out and make sure he gets this surgery and he is tentively on for June 25 in the afternoon.. We at this time are just waiting for a few things to fall into place to make sure that this can happen.. I will keep you updated.. thank you all so much.

Oh Val, I'm so sorry the news was what it was. I will be going to light a candle for babybear and will be keeping in my thoughts and prayers. Oh bless your friends for their help with the surgery. Everyone knows how sweet and special you both are, and how much you have been though. Sending hugs to you both.

Oh Val,
I am heartbroken and I don't know what else to say. Neither you nor Babybear deserve this obstacle in his recovery, however, if we have to look for any positive, quite possibly one of the other pins could be causing the problem of him not walking and thus it will be able to be corrected.
I don't know if it would help, but would you like the name of Sedrick's surgeon and maybe copies of his x rays? It might be helpful for the two surgeons to consult with each other seeing as both Sedrick and Babybear suffered the same degree of injury.
Sedrick says he is thinking about Babybear and he would also like to send him a "token of his friendship" but needs to know where he can send it. Can you pm me and let me know...Sedrick can be a liitle impatient when he has to wait!! He is going to go and light a candle for his buddy.

Give gentle belly rubs to our Babybear and take care of yourself. I hope to hear from you soon.
