| Need advise A.S.A.P There was an ad about a free yorkie. the only thing is that has heartworms. Now, pls. help me with what should be considered, questions that I need to ask. how much is it to treat heartworms? anyone know? i'd like to help but is there severe stages of heartworms? i don't know what to ask and if I can even afford treatment. i assume that's why she is giving he her up. poor yorkie... pls. give me any info. Donating YT 10K Club Member | A dog with heartworms isn't....free. The difference is you're giving the money to a vet.

| treating heartworm is very difficult on dogs.. and not always successful however leaving it will eventually kill the dog i believe. And the other poster is right... it will cost quite a bit. I'd call a vet and get an estimate if you can. |
