Senior Yorkie Talker | im so heart broken so.. i dont know how many people know... but i just got Lexi this past weekend.. we brought her to the vet monday and found out she had two different parasites in her stool.. so the vet gave us medicine for her to take for 10 days. this morning when i woke up, i tried feeding her her usual mooshed up science diet. but she wouldnt eat it. even at lunch time she wouldnt even take a bite. so i gave her nutrical... she wouldnt even eat that! about 30 mins later she threw up... so about an hour later we had to use a sarenge (sp) to feed her more moisted science diet with water. she didnt like it much..... but she threw that up. i noticed earlier today her poop was really dark and tar-like. she just was not herself..... even more quiet than usual. so i called the vet and made an appointment. guess what........ she has parvo i just feel so helpless |

| you just got a new puppy recently, who has parvo? OMG, this is terrible. Is she in the Hospital? Your Lexi did not have any shots yet? How old is she? I am so sorry she is this sick. It sounds lke it was caught in time , and she will hopfully be ok. Where did you buy or adopt her? How long have you had her? ALL these things make a difference because it takes 7-10 days for a dog who has been exposed to Parvo to become sick. I am wondering if where you got her she had been exposed . This makes me very angry and upset for your little one to come down with something like this. Please keep us updated on how she is doing .

YT 2000 Club Member | Oh NO!!! This is terrible!! I hope she pulls through, I'll be keeping her in my thoughts and prayers for sure, please let us know how she's doing? Did you get any kind of health certificate with her? If you just got her this past weekend, I'm wondering if she came to you with it? I'd most definately call the breeder and speak with her about it. If she did come to you with it though, I wouldn't feel comfy getting another pup from her as I'm sure the others would have it as well. Hopefully though your lil one will make it!

| I'm so very sorry. Our Tootsie had parvo, and the vets were able to pull her through. She got it at six months, and she will be two July 24th. I sure hope they can do something for your little one, too. I'll keep my fingers crossed, and you will be in my prayers. Janice |

| I'm really sorry this has happen. Parvo is a deadly disease that a lot of puppies die from. Whoever you got the puppy from is now responsible for the Vet. bills since you just got her. I hope she pulls thru. |

| If nothing else, inform the breeder about the parvo... all her pups may have it. Wishing your little one a speedy recovery.

| Oh no....im so sorry for you and your Lexi to have to go through this...it is a terrible thing. I went through it many years ago with a black lab pup, it was awful but she made it through it. I hope they can do something to help your baby....my prayers and thoughts are with you....

Senior Yorkie Talker | shes only 8wks old... i know, shes too young to be with me. the "breeder" wouldnt hold her any longer... i picked her up this past saturday.. so i know she was already infected with it when i got her. im not calling the "breeder" because i know i would be EXTREMELY, extremely, EXTREMELY rude and obnoxious. so scott will have to do that. hes been nothing but problems since i put the deposit on her. UGH if i could, i would change him into a dog and make HIM have parvo so he could die a slow and awful death. i dont say i hate people because hate is such a harsh word.... but i HATE him with EVERY cell in my F*@#%$@ body. |
