| Incontinence in 1.5 yr old? My yorkie can't seem to get potty trained.. I thought I had a hold on it when he was 6 months until he was neutered and then it all went down hill. He is a year and a half now.. He can hold his pee all day in a kennel.. but when he is out he just trinkles.. If I don't take him out atleat once an hour or two.. he pees inside.. I will find a trail of drips going across the room and it is his pee.. He knows he did wrong because when I find it he runs and hides. I am worried about him because a friend mentioned diabetes.. his urine is also not yellow at all.. it's like water. But, then I think that he can hold his pee for hours in the kennel when I am at work or school.. Is he just being a brat or should I worry? |

| Have you had him checked for an urinary tract infection? That's what my first guess would be. I am not sure about diabetes, I never had a dog with it. So I don't know what to look for except they drink a lot of water and have problems with their eyesite.

| Unfortunately new studies show there are many negative side effects that can occur from having a male neutered at a early age. Regression in house training is one of them. You might find the following article interesting: http://www.naiaonline.org/pdfs/LongT...uterInDogs.pdf |
