| Help! Is she okay? Go see a vet or not? So, Chloe has been acting a little weird..especially tonight! She went upstairs to her bed (in our bedroom) by herself when I was downstairs. She normally likes to follow me and be close to me! So, it was really odd she left me behind! Also, she has been sneezing a lot (esp when she goes outside). Is it possible she is allegric to outside? Also, lately, she breaths very quickly for a short period of time, like she is out of breath? But few seconds later, she is fine? Should I be concern?? Help! Thanks! |

| It could be allergies, and maybe she's not feeling good from them so that's why she went by herself. I would call my vet and make an appointment esp. if her breathing is funny. Hope she feels better!

| I agree. They do have allergic reactions to things just like us. Could be hayfever or something similar, especially with the sneezing. I'd definitely take her in. Could she have inhaled a fox tail?? Good luck.

| There's a lot of grass and tree pollen this time of year so that may well be the cause. I would never say don't go to the vet if you're worried but if she's o.k. most all day, it's likely the pollen. Any sinus or respiratory irritant can lead to a secondary infection so keep an eye out that it doesn't get worse. You may want to leave her in for a couple days to see if she improves. If so, she's probably sensitive to some type of pollen outside. |

| We do have a lot of grass, even my fiance sneezes a lot when he goes outside. Sneezing isn't what worry me the most, just the fast pace breathing? My fiance said maybe something "dirty" get into her or something??? |

| My Suzi does this sometimes too... Especially when really excited .Maybe it does have to do with a miinor cold, or allergies. She has not done this before? A call to the vet might be helpful, just for peace of mind. I hope she feels better |

No, she never done that before. It is new to me (the fast pace breathing!) Sneezing more often than before. I just wonder if a call going to help? Not like she will just "sick" when she at the dr office? | |

| Suzi has done this when she has been playing and running around concern is that it might be asthma? I believe dogs can get that. A trip to the vet really is the best solution I hope she feels better. My thoughts are with your little Yorkie now. |

| Wouldn't hurt to take her to the vet anyway. Sometimes if everything looks okay, they'll just suggest children's benadryl (sp?) at a puppy dosage. But it would be good to have them rule out anything else. |

| Lily sneezes and coughs too, and a lot of times I want to overreact and rush her in... But I've also been told several times that if she's still eating and drinking and playing well that it can probably wait unless it gets more serious. I haven't tried children's benadryl yet either though. Good luck!
