Zoey made it through surgery just fine. Her sugar levels stayed perfect, she handled the anesthsia just fine. They took bone grafts from both shoulders to fuse into her neck and she will be in a splint. They took x-rays after surgery and everything is right where it should be. If all goes well tonight, I can bring her home tomorrow.
The vet said that I will have a hard job ahead. But if she gets better and I still have her, it will be worth it.
I want to thank all of you for your prayers. I don't think I could have handled it if it wasn't for talking with all of you.
I will let you know more when I know more.

Such wonderful news! I'll be praying for her complete recovery. I know she's got a mom that will take good care of her.

OH this is fantastic news.. I am so happy that everythign went well.. If you need any help with what to do and so on when it comes to the recovery please know I am here for you and I have been through it with Babybear.. And Vicki will be here to as soon as she is allowed back.. She wants you to know that she is sending prayers for a quick recovery and that Zoey Grace heals well..
Babybear and I are both praying for you both that everything is easier then when the doc says.. I must say though you will have a whole completely different pup now.. She will be able to play normally and everything after she is healed..

That is such good news, I can breathe a sigh of relief...Zoey Grace is a lucky girl to have such a dedicated Mommy like you!!

I am so glad she made it through!!! You've both been on my mind. It's amazing the strength these little angels have. It will be well worth it. God does'nt give us more than you can handle...I just wish he did'nt trust us so much. LOL

Checking on Zoey Grace.. I am sure you are really busy with her if you have her home and all your attention is on her. That is fine.. Please if you have a chance could you please update us.. Thank you so much.. Oh I wanted to say to not get upset if the doc says she can not come home today. Babybear was in the hospital for 2 to 3 days after surgery.. I am glad he was there a little longer.. Gave me time to rest and be there for him when he got home..
Please give Zoey Grace a gentle belly rub from us..
