| Roxy is chewing/licking her paws - what to do ?? Roxy has been chewing and licking at her paws - particularly her left front paw for several days -- including right after having a bath. I can't see anything on it, I don't know what is going on. She was doing it before the bath, and after the bath. What can I do? Should I take her to the vet? She has had leather ear that we are trying to get past, that I have been trying to treat with Lotrimin and Tea Tree oil. I tried to put the lotrimin on her paw last night, but she was licking at - I need to find out if that is dangerous for her. I just don't know what to do. Any help would be much appreciated.

| Sounds like it could be an allergy problem, have you changed her food lately? |

| No changes here. Everything is exactly the same - except for everything has turned green here - but we've never had allergy issues before and there are no other signs of an allergy. I keep worrying that there is something in her paw that I can't see

| Yup, she needs a trip to the vet. She will eventually end up chewing and licking her foot raw. Allergies are usually the first thing I would have thought of too. Fleas can cause this, even if you don't see any. Especially since we are heading into the warmer season. Anything can cause this though, but she is uncomfortable so hopefully the vet can find her some relief soon..been there..good luck. |

Bella Boo & Diggy Too! Donating GS Member | If you want to give her benedryl in the mean time for some possible relief the dosage for a 5 pound yorkie is 2 mL every 6-8 hours. Id call the vet first to see what they think. Good luck and hope your baby feels better FAST!
