| My Yorkie is throwing up!!!! Hi, My 4 month old yorkie is adjusting to a new house with another dog. He gets jealous when we pet the other dog(A border collie) so he has been rebellious by pooing in his crate overnight when he never used to do that. One morning he jumped out of my friend's arms and landed in the grass and has been hopping since then(that was yesterday) and now he's throwing up. I am hoping he just ate too much but please give some advice. Thanks |

| if still hopping tomorrow i would go in for xrays as these tiny ones can break their legs easily. If it is just one time vomitting then ok but if it is over and over say 6 times for a 7lb dog then you need to go to emergency room but one throw up is not a concern |

| I agree that if he is still limping and/or throwing up in the morning that you should contact your vet.

Yorkie Talker | Yorkie sick-or hurt when my baby was little she fell a few times and would not want to walk for a few hours-i was terrified but she ended up being okay. if it last more than a day-go to the vet. vomiting seems to happen a lot with my yorkie. I can never figure out why but it can be dangerous. when she gets nervous she will throw up. they have very sensitive tummys so maybe it was grass. if it keeps happening and she has no appetite-go to the vet. they quickly become dehydrated and hypoglycemic.thisis very troublesome and can be deadly. |
