Ear Boo boo!? About two weeks ago I saw something crusty on both of gabbys ears. Being a yorkie mom I started to pick it off when I realized she was in great pain! Once I finished getting the crusty stuff off I noticed they seem to be scabs. The skin started to bleed! I'm assuming our other dog bit both of her ears while playing . I've left the ears alone and the scabs seem to be growing larger and pink around the area! The ears don't seem to hurt her unless I touch the area! Any idea? Should we go to the vet? Could it be a rash?

ears I would go to the vet and nip it in the bud with a antibacterical shampoo...like Chlorhexaderm..it sounds like a bacterical or exema rash starting.

it could be "leather ear". Edie had a bout of it years ago, and that's how it started. Search "leather ear" on YT and you'll see numerous threads about it.
