I'm glad it isn't broken. Thank goodness for pain meds!

These little fur butts can really make us panic, can't they? It's almost worse than skin kids cause the dogs are so little and they can't tell us what hurt.

I hope she heals quickly.

Poor baby and Mommy. Glad you wereable to find another vet to see her today. Hopeing she will feel better in a few days.

Caren - I'm so sorry I missed this thread yesterday, but glad that Mia's leg isn't broken. I hope her leg heals very soon and I'm sure she'll eat up the extra lovin and being on momma's lap for a few days!!! No more squirrel hunting for Mia!!!!! Sissy and Angel send hugs!!!!

OMG I wish I was RAZZING you but no they did turn me away....for real!!

Man I was mad...ask Nikki...poor her I gave her an earful when she called me. I was so hot still. I mean it is just so wrong - I plan on calling him on Monday and telling him about his front office staff but honestly at this pint I am not sure if I will be going back. I think that turned me off from him for good.

She is worrying me because she will not go potty at all. Every time I take her out and put her down she just stands there with her hurt leg up in the air and cries for me to pick her back up. Man she is killing me with her sad looks...I just hate it that she is hurting.

Just now seeing this. I'm so sorry but so glad it isn't anything worse. I've often worried about concussions..... they just run so fast that they don't seem to even see the upcoming table legs, footstools, or TREES! Big hugs from us!

Just watch her and if you need and feel like it call the vet tomorrow morning.
Even broken legs if it is not too bad may not be an imediate emergency ... You can call to make sure but i saw this on animal planet, the vet emergency show, they stabilize and wait until the specialist can see , if you can do it at home why take her to the emergency?

NO!!! Thats what got me so mad ... they would not even let the Vet know I was willing to wait all day for him. Thats why I want to call on Monday to let him know how it went down in his lobby. I really did like him and MAY be willing to give him another try if he says something worth saving me as a client but at this point am SOOOO mad for the way his front office handled it.

Thank you Suzy. Mia seems to be doing a little better today but STILL will not walk on her little foot. She has learned to hop along on three legs quite well - lol!!

I am really hoping by tomorrow or Tuesday that she is at least using it a little - if not I may be taking her back in.
