| Blood with stool Has anyone had this problem? My almost 13 year old little girl (yorkie , of course) has had blood with her stool. Not in it , but with it. Could it be like a hemmroid or compacted anal glands? She has an appointment with her new vet May 12th. She is eating and acting normally. Please let me know if this has happened to any of your yorkies. Thanks! |

| My 2 year old yorkie had this a couple of months ago. It turned out to be just a bout of colitis and she was put on some medication and was better almost immediately. Can you call a vet to see what they suggest? You may need to bring in a sample of the stool and blood for testing.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | It could be any number of things - how long has it been going on? Is it bright red or dark/deep? What is her stool like?

| Her stool varies but mostly it's normal. With this bout it was a bit loose, but I have started giving her chicken and rice . Sometimes this causes this with her. OMG, I just read the thread about Nutro dog food! She has been on the canned Nutro forever! I will be changing this FAST!!! |
