| Wheezing? When I got Piper she had a cough and the breeder told me it was probably canine influenza. When I took her to the vet for her 1st check up the vet put her on some antibiotics in case it was kennel cough. The antibiotics didn't seem to make a difference so I decided to wait it out. It has gotten better but she still makes a wheezing noise when she gets up in the morning and sometimes if she's been playing really hard. Any suggestions? Has anyone else had this experience? I don't want to keep taking her back to the vet and putting her on meds if she doesn't need them. TIA.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | It seems a little odd that she is still wheezing. Was she ever vaccinated for kennel cough? Bc sometimes, the vaccine can cause a nasty case of kennel cough - and it can take a while to clear - but this seems a little long.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | When Cali and Maya had kennel cough it took over 3 months and 3 rounds of antibiotics to clear it up. So maybe Piper's will clear up soon.

| I hope that Piper will be better very soon. Has he been to a vet recently? Do you have problems with pollen in your area? Keep us posted.
