[quote=Tink's Mom;2011217] One more hour and I can have more pain meds and go to bed for a couple of hours.
/quote]

Susie, may I give you some advice? Don't wait for your pain med time-line if you are in need. The pain will cause you added stress, so just take the pill earlier, write it down and it sounds like you have a pinched nerve. I found that 4 hours was too long and my threshold was more like 3-3.5 hours. Have you tried ice packs on your low back to reduce the swelling?

So sorry because that is the most aggravating pain. Warmly, Deborah

PS You are not whining.

You don't have to worry about whining... that's what we are here for. I'm pretty sure your whining is justified anyway. I am so sorry you are in pain.
Thinking of you always.

Hugs

Aww, Susie. I hope today is better for you. Never, ever worry about complaining. You've been through so much, for your back to be acting up and causing you so much pain now has got to be hard to take.

Prayers for a better day.

No different news on Tink today. She is still trying to scoot and really really trying to walk in the sling. Her front feet don't have the hang of the rhythm yet, but it will come. Today the original frog had to go to froggie heaven, so Barb gave her the first replacement frog! She didn't even stop sucking long enough to notice the change! Silly baby. I love her so much, I so miss holding her on my shoulder at night and getting the little licks and snuggles. Soon, I keep telling myself, soon!
Susie,
Have they tried swim therapy for Tink? It worked wonders for Bratwurst. They naturally get a rhythm in the water. We would even put his life vest on and let him swim next to the canoe during the summer. Actually it would probably do you some good too. Take the burden off of your back and knee and get some mobility. Just a thought, hope you two are still doing fine.

Happy Memorial Day to you Susie.
I hope today finds you with less pain than yesterday.
Maybe keep in mind, no pain no gain. I know it's easier
said then done just something to make it easier to deal with.
I keep you and Tink in my daily thoughts and prayer's.
Wishing you both good wishes and a speedy recovery so you
can once again be together.

Hugs,

Susie, so how goes the back and leg pain? Out the window, I hope!!! It most definitely sounds like a pinched nerve...or sciatica. Gosh, when it rains it pours. There has to be something that can be done to relieve the pressure so as to ease the pain. I for one will continue my thoughts and prayers...you have to get better...you just have to.
Once you are on the road to recovery...Tink will follow. She needs her mommy...and her mommy needs her. Hope she is doing well and maybe even having a little fun on week end away. Don't worry Susie, you and Tink will be blessed...I pray for this every day.

Here's hoping that both Susie and Tink are better with each passing day.

The roar of voices of those praying and sending happy thoughts CANNOT be ignored.
