SO glad to hear that Tink is getting better.

That nightie is adorable. Tink will be darling in it. We'll be looking for a frog for our lil fighter.

BIGBIGBIG HUGs ... and sloppy Yorkie kisses ... to you both!

Remember I just got her a purple Hello Kitty one? She made it with velcro down the front so I can get Tink into it easer. She put velcro on this one too.

Thank you so much Judy! The techs at the vet school wil just love it!

OH, that reminds me - EVERYONE - Tink's frog is wearing out. She sucks on it so hard now. I've repaired it several times, but it's getting beyond repair. If anyone sees these anywhere, please get one and I'll pay you for it and postage. I think I got it at Target but it was over a year ago.

The nightie! and then the frog (the top is green and the belly is yellow)!
Looks like a frog my Roxy chewed up on - ours came from Target, but seems that I saw them not that long ago at one store -- I'll look this next week

What a darling frog nightgown for Tink. Jodie does such beautiful work! Tink is going to look so adorable in that!

I am going to be on the lookout for a frog! Yikes...if only you'd known when you bought it how much she was going to love it, you could have bought 2!

Hugs to you!

Hi Susie! I'm glad you got the nightie. I feel so helpless to be of any real use. Hope today brought more good news. Give Tink hugs!

Hi, I'm home. Tink was a little sick today. She was vomiting her food and had a little ooshy poo. Barb said "Oh no, I made Tink sick!" But her husband said no, Tink was just worn out and still trying to get better. "Setbacks are to be expected."

So, I didn't try to put her new nightie on her before I left. She was just all limp and kind of whiney. Making that little squeeky toy noise. She didn't want to be held or petted. So, I just put my hand on her little tush and sat next to her. She slept most of the time I was at Barb's. i didn't stay long since she didn't feel well. It's really nice of Barb and Peter to let me come every day but I don't want to wear out my welcome either. Peter is going to bring Tink over tomorrow morning on his way to the airport and I get to keep her all morning. I hope I will be OK with her. I tried today to see if I can pick her up and gether onto my lap in the wheelchair. I did it, but I used a blanket to help cause I didn't want to hurt her. It worked really well.

So, that was the day of Tink and Susie. I love my little Tinkerbrat!

It was very sweet of you to get her the nightie. We will remember you until it is threadbare on her little back. Then I'll have to save a piece and use it for an attention-getter in another outfit!

Her frog no longer has a head. I've sewn it into the neck so she won't choke on it.

Hi Susie! I'm sorry to hear that Tink isn't feeling well today. It's nice that she's staying with a vet who can analyze the situation for what it is, an expected setback. Poor baby. Poor you.

Hugs and prayers are still on there way!

Yes, there will be days for Tink that are not rated high on the bar, and probably two steps forward - one step backward until she is stronger.

Do you have a heavy weight shawl that can be wrapped around your neck, and place her in there? Similar to the sling you were talking about?

It has to be difficult to see her struggle, and almost sounds like her voice is due to her lack of strength. You know when you are very sick or weak, our voices are softer.

Enjoy the morning with precious Tink and do wish I was closer to help you. Warmly, Deborah

Interesting you should ask! I do have a beautiful piece of textile that my daughter brought me back from Myanmar. It's a beautiful blue and brown. I could sew a triangle of it so her little butt won't slip out. We'd be safe and stylish too!

I'm glad you get to spend the morning with her tomorrow. I'll bet she will really like being home again. I suppose you are pretty busy getting things ready for being gone. Is someone going to be watching your place?

I'm so sorry that little Tink had a bad day yesterday. I am still praying for her and for you as well. I can only imagine how hard this is for both of you but it's so encouraging to hear about her improvements! I will be on the lookout for a new frog too. I don't recall seeing one like that but have checked Toto's and she doesn't have one like it. I will ask my daughter to check Toto's toys that are at our home ... we're on a frog hunt!! Toto says tell Tink that when we find one, it's hers!!
