I rushed Toby to the hospital this afternoon. He is in a great deal of pain and could hardly hold his head up when we arrived. They took xrays, but did not see a blockage and are doing the routine tests as we speak. They admitted him and will begin an infusion pump and will also keep him medicated for pain. Hopefully we will know something more later this evening.
I am so frightened right now and I just want him free from the terrible pain he is experiencing. I can't stand it when one of my babies is hurting....

Janie, I am so sorry. I will say a prayer for little Toby. I hope they find what is hurting him and make him all better soon.

i'm so sorry Janie.

did something happen to Toby that made him painful or did he just start going downhill for no apparent reason? i'm sure they'll find out the cause soon and fix him up

Thank you all for your prayers. Toby was fine for most of the day and then began developing symptoms early this afternoon. He was lethargic, shaking, crying and vomiting when I rushed him to the ER. They have him on pain meds and fluid... hopefully we will get some answers by morning.

awww, maybe its just a 24 hour bug. hope he's better soon and can come home
