| Coughing sometimes My Sammy sometimes coughs after he has been running or playing. If I make him drink water, he quits. It is generally a short period of time as it gets better when he drinks water. I can't tell if he is having some type of allergy or what. He doesn't have a collapsed trachea as he has done this the whole time we've had him and has had several vet visits when getting his shots. Just curious if it is something serious. Forgot to mention he is about 6 months old. We've had him since he was 12 weeks. Got him from a good breeder. Thanks Last edited by SammySyverson; 04-10-2008 at 04:21 PM. |

| I would be curious about kennel cough, if it's a gagging like cough. It's an upper respiratory problem. It can take a while to get rid of. YOu can do a search for symptoms on the web to see if it's possible. |

| I would say allergies, if he isn't doing it all the time, just when he gets hot from running, dry throat
