Donating YT 11K Club Member | One of them pooped blood. I'm so worried I don't know who it was but it was def. one of the girls. They have been pooping all morning. While i was cleaning it i found 2 little drops of diarrhea with some blood in it. I'm really worried. They are both acting normal though And last time i took London to the vet they checked her stool and it came back negative. What can it be???

| My Kia pooped blood last summer. Take a stoool sample to your Vet and if you can't figure out which baby did it, he'll need to see both of them. Be very careful, sometimes a virus is going around and that is the first sign of it. Or it may be gastro-enteritis. Sheila |

| Tricksie has done that and it was a bacterial infection. I took her to the Vet 3 times and they gave her fluids and antibiotics. It could be some toy that she chewed on, I would take her in.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Definately getting stool samples to the vet would help. My pom has colitis so she has bloody stools a lot if she isn't on meds.

| Chachi had bloody stool twice. Once the vet said it was gastrointestinal upset and the other time was because he had worms. So you never really know untill you get a vet check

| Bubba just had 2 weeks ago an episode of bloody/mucasy poo and one episode of vomiting. The vet said it was as close to the flu as a dog can get. Medication , herbs & chicken broth worked for us. He went without food for a couple days to let his system rest - just the low sodium chicken broth - would have made homemade, but I was also sick

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | blood in teh stool for dogs isn't as big a deal as blood in human stool. Dogs will have blood in their stool if they have gastrointestinal upset or if they've been pooping alot. a few drops is no big deal and i wouldn't go to the vet. however if it gets worse or doesn't go away then i'd take them in for GI antibiotics.

| Have you figured out who it is yet? Here's hoping it's nothing serious and that whoever it is gets well soon.

Also, is it red or dark? Was anything weird in the stool - like she got into something perhaps?

Donating YT 11K Club Member | Hi guys! I have been watching them both closely and so far so good. None of them have thrown up or pooped blood again, don't know who it was but i think it may have been from straining cause i remember hearing it and it was drops as if they were forcing it out. They are both acting normal also
