| Licking front legs My 5 year old boy seems to lick his front legs. When I rub or touch them, there are no lumps or bumps, he doesn't seem to have any pain. We all go to the vet on 4/7 so I'll ask the vet also, but I thought maybe I'd hit you guys up for some info.

| He used to eat Iams mini chunks, but I've switched to Canidae for about 8-9months now. He licked on both foods.

| very happy to hear you have switched to a great food does the food contain chicken?? some dogs (Layla included) are VERY allergic to chicken.. the only issue with telling your vet about this is they might want to put him on meds... and a lot of things can be solved without meds... we were able to figure out that Layla can't have wheat, chicken and dairy. However, had we gone to the vet they would have probably wanted to put her on a steriod. however, you might want to mention it and just let them know you are aware it might be food allergy and are working on figuring that out, but do they think it could be anything else. Good luck |

| The canidae formula is the All life stages. I'll look up the formula in a second. His snacks vary, right now he's got the Bil Jak liver treats, oh my god does he go nuts for these But he doesn't get anything else on a regular basis. We have snow, so I don't think it's a grass allergy, though he would be very upset about that, he likes to lay under daddys hammock in the shade.

| Thanks, I had no idea. The Bil Jak we just got recently, he's maybe had 8 of them total. I try not to give him too many treats. As he gets some accidentally from being the puppy vacuum for daddy (who's kinda of a slob)

| Charlie has a itchy time with grass also, but he loves his walks. He did have yeast in his paws, simple swab test by vet and I use a specialized shampoo twice a week until the itching stops.
