| My yorkie ran away :'( I don't know if I am even posting in the right place or not but this is an emergency in my opinion and I need to vent. I recently adopted a dog from YT and he ran away this morning. I have been out looking for him since 9:30 this morning. I don't even know how it happened. I let him out to go potty and five minutes later he was gone out of nowhere. I have driven all over our neighborhood and went door to door. Nobody has seen him. I have really lost all hope because he only weighs 4 pounds and he really doesn't stand a chance against anything. I don't know what else to do. I am soooooooooo upset Has anyone here ever had a yorkie that ran away and came back? I know bigger dogs do that sometimes, but I don't know about yorkies. |

| Call your vets in the area and let them knw so they can call you if there is any new yorkies coming in...I would send pics to the vets... Put up posters and go door to door, he may be close by in some ones house. I'm so sorry for you... I'll be praying for your baby to come home.

| We live on 25 acres. I have driven all over around here on a 4 wheeler through the woods and everything. I have gone door to door and driven around in my car all day. Nobody has seen him. He is 3 years old and I have had him about a month and a half. I think maybe he was trying to find his way back to his old home or something and (maybe a dog or a hawk) got to him. I even wonder if he could have gotten bitten by a snake or something. A snake bite could take him down very easily. I don't even know what else to do. |

| Look closer to home. A out building, under the house, etc. They usually don't get very far...my daughter's cat was across the street in the neighbor's basement. Workman had closed the door, and Harley was trapped until the next day. Thinking of you and your pup. Warmly, Deborah
