| The problem I am having is that I can't get her to eat anything but her favorite dog food once a day. I tried Yogurt last night and she took all of two licks off my finger. I will keep trying. Maybe I will give her some tonight before her regular meal, when I know she is hungry.

| It is good to hear that Gracie is feeling good enough to want to romp and play and that she is eating. I hope you can get the pooping thing fixed and then you will be all set. The next two weeks will be stressful, but will pass before you know it. Hugs to both you and Gracie |

if she's having problems and the yogurt isn't working you can give her a 1/2 tsp of metamucil to get things flowing. mix it with her canned food.

| I figured out one sure fire way to get a dog to eat. Make sure it is something the other dog is scarfing down. I put out a dish of yogurt. Gracie licked a bit off my finger, then turned her head. Holly came and started scarfing down the yogurt. Next thing I know Gracie has her head in there eating like there is no tomorrow! Gracie had a normal BM this afternoon. I so hope all is ok now. If we get through tonight without a diarrhea mess I think we will be good. Thanks again everyone for your support.

| Gracie is doing very well. Her BMs are back to normal. It is all I can do to keep her resting. She has managed to jump on her back legs a few times, and jumped up on the couch when I had taken the puppy steps away. Even though stairs are off limits, I think 3 puppy steps are better than jumping. I just can't stand to keep her crated. I'm a bad mom! She is still favoring that right back leg when going down and now up the puppy steps. It was only when going down before. I'm hoping that this is just post-op pain and that nothing from the surgery has been disturbed. Only 5 more days of confinement after today. YES! I'm thinking about taking her to the park in her stroller tomorrow. Do you think she might get too excited and jump around in the stroller? Should I just wait out the 5 days? Thanks for your concern and support!
