Well, Princess' (My Pook) surgery for the Legg Perthes disease is set to happen on Tuesday. I am so anxious.I hate the thought of even being away from her overnight,let alone her being in a strange place,in pain,and no mommy around to hep comfort her.

I have been reading where Lacy had to have surgery.I hope she's doing ok,and not in too much pain.

Good Luck to Pook!. FHOs are a much easier recovery then luxating patellas. She'll be back to her old self in no time!

Thanks to everyoe for their well wishes. I am so nervous...not about the care she'll get, just about her being apart from her family.

I wanted to let everyone know Princess is out of surgery. The vet said she did well. They said I coud go by and see her if I wanted to,but I knew it would be hard for me and her to see each other,and then have to leave her all over again, so as hard as it is to have to wait to see her tomorrow,I thought it best. I miss her SO MUCH!I can't wait to go pick her up tomorrow!

I'm glad for you and Princess that everything went well!.....I can certainly understand your missing her, she must be just as anxious to see you....I hope she's back to herself soon.....

Abigaile had this surgery 7 month ago...she is doing well...still favors her leg when she runs...Praying for a speedy and full recovery

I appreciate everyone whose shown concern and care for Princess.I apologize for not getting back sooner. My life has been / still is hectic. Princess's surgery,my mom had a car accident(she's ok,thank God),and my husband and I are starting up a new business,so I feel like I'm needing a prescription for some serious nerve meds! Princess is doing great-she is attached to me,though,and dont want me out of her site!(I kinda like that though!

).
