Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | No idea what's going on but I do think it's impertive that you take her in, so I'm glad your vet is available. Hope she feels better soon!

| Omg This is freaking me out so much because this is the exact thing that I went though last night. Seriously, word for word. We went to the Vet ER at 1:30am. Theo was examined and the vet didn't see anything in his mouth or throat. They took an xray and didnt find anything. The vet said that although it may look like blood, it probably isn't because the stomach acid makes blood from the stomach look like coffee grounds. He offered to watch my dog over night. He said that because Theo was attentive and acting pretty normal he thought that it was premature to run more tests. And if he got worse I could come back or wait until morning. I took him home and I watched him all night and my BF watched him all day. He was fasted until this afternoon. He is acting fine now. No more vomiting after we got back from the vet. Running around and playing. Not to say that you shouldn't still be worried, because I am still keeping a close eye on him, but I feel you pain. I drove to the ER in a snow storm, in the middle of the night, balling my eyes out and got two hours of sleep before working for 13 hours. Hes my boy and I love him more then anything. |
