| cellophane plastic ingestion I'm in a panic mode.... I would like to know, Bikini ate a the size of a quarter plastic cellophane about 1/2 hour ago. I know it can be dangerous for them to plug the small intestine. Do you think the size of a quarter can be dangerous? Thanks for your help!

| If you're talking about cellophane film I think Bikini should be fine. You can feed some olive oil to help things move on through.

| I heard I could give her some canned food too... I have some here that she eat as a treat sometimes. Would that be good?

| Well, it wouldn't hurt and should help "move things along". To help calm your nerves, Ginger is my little yorkie vacuum. I used to panic EVERYTIME she swallowed something. Believe me we are very careful around here, but things happen. I keep a bottle of olive oil and a can of pumpkin around. But, honestly, if she swallowed a little piece of cello I don't think I'd even worry about it. Gosh, just last week we were visiting Grandmas and she got ahold of her earplugs ...no problems. I know you will worry, but try not to panic. Anyway, a small peice of cello shouldn't create a problem. For your own piece of mind, call your vet. They should be able to give you an opinion over the phone. LOL, mine got more calls than I'd like to admit to in the beginning. And don't even get me started on the first time Fun Kitty ate a mouse!

| My girl swallows everything she sees on her way, I’ve found the most unsuspected things in her poop ! I try to be so careful and keep her busy with toys but she is like a vacuum cleaner, lol... Thankfully she takes all out without any trouble. I am glad to hear that your baby is ok
