| I am gonna wrap her in bubble wrap! Hi all, last night Delilah was doing her little dance of turning around in circles like she does on the way to bed when she doubled back and my foot sent her sprawling about 2 feet. There is about a 4 inch drop from the family room to my bedroom and she hit the floor and cried but did not limp or act hurt other than the cry when she hit. Anyway, I called the vet today to ask for something for pain and he gave me Metacam. Has anyone ever used this and is it relatively safe? She is not acting like she is in pain but she is shy of my feet! Poor baby. I feel like I need to baby proof the entire house complete with bumper pads on all the sharp corners!

| Thank you....yes, that is what she has. She is only 2 lbs and I have the syringe thing too. I had called the vet a while back about giving 1/4 of a baby aspirin for when she was under the weather but he said that would still be too much for her due to her size and suggested this instead. I am glad she is ok too....it really makes you feel bad when you do something to hurt these little ones....will never understand how some monsters could do it purposely!

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Love the bubble wrap idea! Isn't just awful when you accidently run into them in some way? It just devastates me to no end! Esp. when they're so tiny - it makes me feel like this big, monstrous ogre that ran them down, poor little things! I hope she is feeling better.
