taking lacey to the vet in an hour, what could i be if she has been really sleepy, starring off into space, and wobbly shaking like she is cold, and small slimy blood in stool?

Oh, no! Did she eat something funny outside? If she is shaky, have you tried giving her some nutrical or karo? It'd be good to know what happens after giving karo/nutrical - bc at least you could know if it might be due to low blood sugar.

Are her gums pink? Is she eating/drinking? Poor baby, how scary!

yes i have been giving that to her for 4 days now, doesnt seem to make a differance. the only thing out side was a dead mouse but that was just yesterday and this has been going on for 4 days. can anyone thing of any questions i should ask or things i should make sure they do?

My first thought is how old is your baby? Is the blood fresh or dark? Probably good she is getting into the vet now. If you have not left yet, please make sure they do a floatation fecal and a giardia snap test. I would guess she has a gastro problem, but deciding what bug has caused it would affect which meds she would go on. Please keep us posted!

just got bk from vet have to go bk in 2 hours for next blood test they think liver shunt

thankyou, i really dont know how much more i mentally can take this past 3 years god has really been putting me through alot of tests in our lives. i really really pray that it isnt liver shunt but if it is we will deal with it and do what ever is needed for her she has helped me through so much i can only pray i can get her through this. i will let you know if it is or isnt when we get back from the vets again again thank you for you prayers

mog i wish they would call me bk, i cant stop crying, still waiting for results on second set of blood tests. mentally after loosing the baby last year and now this i dont think i can take it. if i didnt have lacey to get me through last year i know i would have totally had a mental break down. i pray its nothing but the vet thinks it is.
