| Something Is Wrong With Charlie/ Help Hi guys, Charlie has been acting funny all day, No vomiting, just being lazy, not like him, so I took him out just a bit ago, and he was trying to go to the bathroom, when i brought him in i picked him up to check him out, and he has a very large bump by his but, do you think it could be his glands? He is walking funny and keeps trying to lick at it, I have never felt the anel glands before, so im not sure, he is runnung around like its really bothering him. any advise please.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Maybe he is impacted back there with poop. Try soaking his but in warm water and make sure no poop is blocking him up. If that doesn't work I would get him to the vet. Good luck let us know how he is.

| THe anal glands are at about 4 o'clock and 8 o'clock just below the anus opening. Is the lump under the skin or on the skin? If it is on the skin what color is it? Just so you know, I have no idea but I think others will want to know the answers to the questions above.

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | i'm thinking anal gland problem or constipation. i'd take him to a vet because if it is an anal glad problem you want that taken care of before it ruptures

| He just went to the bathroom, He seems better, Im going to keep a close eye on him, if he is not better by morning, i will take him in, thank you all, please say a pray for my boy. He had some hard poo stuck that i didnt notice right away, I cleaned him up and the bump has went down, does that sound normal to you all.

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | you can try half a teaspoon of metamucil. that usually gets things going. Or canned pumpkin. First i'd give him a little plain yogurt, that usually helps with digestion and such. Whenever morgan has an upset tummy or when she had the runs i gave her yogurt and it helped.
