| Eye problem? Has anyone had any trouble with eye problems in thier yorkies? Teddy has what I thought was something in his eye but when I checked it again today it looks like it has gotten larger and when we tried to remove it with a Q-tip it wouldn't move. It is quite large and pretty much right over the middle of the eye. Anyone have any thoughts on this? Of course I will be taking him to vet as soon as possible but wanted to know if anyone has had anything like this.

| Could he have scratched his cornea? I did this once and left it torn looking like matter laying across my eye.

I'm not sure but I am worried as it has been there for a while. I just didn't realize it was anything more than a hair or something in there. It was small at first looking just like maybe he had some hair in his eye or something. Now it is about the size and shape of a small pencil eraser. It looks like the the gelitan of the eye has...I don't even know how to explain it. It looks like there is a problem with the eye covering??? Wish I could get a picture of it but I don't think he would appreciate me sticking a camer in his face that close...

| well if he had torn the cornea it would tear....no fun. But I don't think that could be it if it is enlarging. I don't know, makes you think of caterac but I just don't know. Hope it is nothing serious.

| Murfee has scratched his cornea 2 different times...and wouldn't you know we were out of town both times. He was given a topical antibiotic and a topical pain killer. We just keep them on hand now for when it happens again. Good lluck |
