| My wee Pepe is due to have surgery on his hind leg. Hi, My name is Jean and I have a little rascal called Pepe who is a year old. Over the past two weeks his hind leg joint kept popping out when out walking. The Vet has recommended surgery next week. Can anyone enlighten me to how this will effect the wee lad after any surgery and is surgery the only option? |

| Having the same problem with my Annie, who is only 4 months old. Her left back kneecap is popping out a lot. Our vet put her on prednisone for a month to see if this works. Hope this works for her. Jean and Annie |

| Hi, Jean. My little Rebel had the same surgery on his rear left leg right before his first birthday. I was terrified and he saw 2 vets before the surgery. I worried needlessly. He only weighed 4 lbs at the time and I was afraid for him to be anesthetized. The vet was wonderful, the surgery went well, and now he's even more active than before (if that's possible). He's nonstop action and I'm sure your little Pepe will come thru with flying colors. If I can offer any more information, please feel free to PM me.
