| Prayers needed for Max... Last night my sister was petting Max (our 7 year-old yorkie) and found a large black bump on the back of his ear, it was hard... so my mom took him into the vet this morning and they said that its Melanoma and that it could be cancerous...he's having it removed next week and they will test it. Please pray for our family and Max that this mole will turn out to be benign, i'm so scared and upset...what do you do for a dog that might have cancer? This has not been a good year for my family and our yorkies...we have 2 possibly liver compromised dogs, 1 with potential cancer... Has any one ever had a yorkie that had a cancerous mole...what did you do?

| Thanks...our whole family is so upset...Max was the yorkie I picked out after Moochie passed away. He's such an angel and well behaved i hate to think he has something horrible going on inside his little body. And I just know that if something happens to him Mazie (our other 7 yo yorkie) will be devastated...not to mention our family. When I move out Max and Mazie are all my mom has to keep her company...unless of course me or my sister comes over and visits.

| I hope you see this...I had this with my little girl(she's almost 5), she had a big lump on the back of her neck for a few months..I was told it was a cyst, well, it did start getting bigger, she had it removed a month ago, as when I took her to the vets, they said it was a tumor, they had to shave all around it, and sent it in, and Thank God, it was benign..so, hoping yours is too..They said these little dogs get these, and even though they don't spread, they can still get more of them...praying you get the same results, but, I know how scared you are, I've been in your shoes on this one...please let us know when you find out... |
