| Do you know how many she ate? Amount is important. I would take her in to an emergency vet right away. If it was that long ago, I doubt that it would help to make her throw up more, so I think the emergency vet is your best bet. If the guy you called wasn't helpful, I would try a different one. Good luck and keep us posted!

| I don't think there is anything you can do at this point but get her to the vet. I don't know how much she ate but if she has the runs and vomiting I would say more than enough. It can kill them and she should go tonight.

| What did they tell you to do? Induce vomiting? It depends how much was consumed. A small amount might not be toxic. It sounds like she is having problems though. Two kinds of candy seems like a lot. I would go to the vet. She might need an IV.

| I dont think she had too much of it.I found her trying to eat the reeses pieces and she had eaten 1/4 of one.The tootsie roll was just something she chewed on with the wrapper but didnt get much out of it. |

| To hear you decribe it it doesn;'t sound like much but I would think that if it's enough to cause vomiting and stuff that it may be more than you think.

| The problem with chanel is that she also has a very sensitive stomach, it seems that everything she puts in her mouth makes her throw up.I just spoke to another hospital. They told me to keep an eye on her, he says if I notice anything fifferent to take her in.She hasnt thrown up again so im hoping she will be fine.My 11 year old daughter is already in her room crying her eyes out because she thinks shes going to die.Right now she is playing with my son and acting her usual self.I hope she will be ok. |

| Another thing I may have forgotten to say is that chanel only weighs about 2 1/2 pounds. so i know it wont take much chocolate to get her sick |

| Hope and pray Chanel will be just fine...hopefully when she puked she was able to rid her body of some of the toxin and the diarrhea will get rid of whatever is left. Watch her carefully, make sure she drinks plenty of water to keep her hydrated...if you notice her acting different, lethargic...get her to the ER Vet ASAP. Chanel...no more candy for you, okay?

| Watch for her to get really nervous and hyper, elevated heart beat. I hate to admit this, but I had a scare last year. I had my dad's dog, cocker, Alphy and Abby. They had gotten into a bag of Hershey dark chocolate miniture bars. The kids called me about it. Of course i got kid like answers when I tried to question them about it, how long has it been, how much, etc. I had hoped Abby 70+lbs got more then the smaller ones just for the fact she could tolerate it more then the other 2. Of course I flew home and found thrown up wrappers. I was panicked. About 10 minutes later Alphy started running laps around the house so I knew he'd gotten to it too (about an hour after digestion). His heart was beating mile a minute too. I immediately gave both Alphy and Lucky (cocker) peroxide and they instantly vomited. It was gross and then I gave them both activated charcoal to absorb the rest. Thankfully they were ok. It's scary. Alphy is 9lbs and yours is way littler, but it doesn't sound like she ate enough but just keep a close eye on her. Big hugs because I totally know how you feel.
