| Loss of hair on the nose!! I am not sure this is the right place but... I went to see my granmother this weekend.. She also has a Yorkie who is just a little over 3 years old. I noticed that the hair around his nose and a tad on the bridge of his nose is gone. He also has little white dots on his nose as well as around the black part of his his eyes. I am not talking about on his eyeball.. THis is on the skin where the eyelashes would be. He was also kinda snorting a bit. I told her that he might have some kind of allergy.. Has anyone ever had this happen or even know of it happening to another Yorkie?? Is so what is the cause?

| I was searching around and found a few people on here mention Leather ear. Does anyone have a good link? I can't seem to find any info on it.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Cali has allergies and has periods of severe scratching on her nose and the hair comes off and it gets white crusty where seh has scratched. She has it right now. I was up 1/2 the night with her scratching even with her medicines. So it may well be your grandma's dog has allergies.

| My older yorkie had loss of hair on the nose. I gave him Shaklee b-complex (one or two...can't remember) and it grew back. suzie |

| I remember a few months ago reading about Leather Ear and there were picture examples. I'll see if I can locate it again.
