| Banfield insurance Does anyone on here have Banfield pet insurance throught Petsmart? How do you like it? How do you like Banfield pet hospitals in general? I have been looking at VPI also, but it seems that Banfield, you just pay a certain amount each month, then when you actually go to the vet, you pay nothing. Just curious.

| Insurance I have it...When you go to the vet you dont have to pay for the visit however you do have to pay for any medications your baby may need. All routing shots are paid for in the plan and if you have any overnight or special needs you get a % off

| I did get the Puppy Package for a year. I paid approx $330.00 and it covered everything for a year- complete check ups, shots, worming, spay, blood work, any office visit....etc and it was nice to not have to pay anything after that. Everyone was nice and Roxie got every shot you could possibly need but.. after my year is up (she is a year old next week)I am switching to a Vet that is more personal. I always kinda of felt like I was a number. There was always a line to check in, I waited sometimes in the little room for up to 45 mins( a hour one time). It kind of reminds me of my HMO. It was worth the money though. Other than that I had no problems. I just want a Vet who knows me and knows my Roxie on a more personal level. It was missing that extra touch. I hope that makes sense to you.

| I disagree with the whole "number" thing with the banfield I go to. I absolutely love banfield and I couldnt be happier with our service. I bought it for Zoey when I first got her and after calling around to other vets I know I am saving TONS of money! There are three vets at our banfield and each of them is more than I could ask for! Zoey has seen all three but you can schedule to just see one if you are looking for a more personal experience. We never have to wait in a waiting room for more than 5 min and the vet and nurses are very personable. Zoey was just spayed yestereday and the vet called me right after her surgery to put me at ease and let me know that everything went fine! I have heard stories about other banfields but I would give them a try, we just love ours!
