Not all pet stores that sell puppies get them from puppymills, but it is true that you would not want to knowlingly support a pet store that does. It would be easy to find out by asking to see the paperwork on the puppies if they sell puppies. Hopefully they don't or, if they do, they breed the puppies responsibly and just use the store as a way to meet the prospective adoptive parents.
Anyyway, I am glad you had fun and the prices were right. I, for one, am glad that more reasonably priced alternatives are popping up to these high end boutiques where everything is outrageous!! Do they have a website? |
