| Heard on the Today Show that they're engaged. It's a little strange if you ask me. My mom watched him on Oprah a while back and was completely sickened by his overly excited interview. I'm all about being in love and finding "the one," but I also think that a 40 year old man should be able to contain his emotions and excitement a little more than he is. If they're happy, good for them, but thus far it's been a little "much" for me. |

| I, personally, don't think "love" can blossom in 6 weeks (the length of time they've been dating..lol, I read about it last night in US Weekly) and if it were to happen, I don't think it would last. I think they are totally bizzerk over one another and are just living in the moment but I wouldn't call it love! |

I tend to disagree with you nat lol. I met my husband on sweetest day and we were married in less than a year. 6 yrs and 4 children later we are still gong strong. My oldest son is his stepson. so just for all you romantics out there when its the real deal it can happen quickly.lol On the other hand we sure as heck didnt act like tom and katie lmao

| I tired of hearing about them, lol. But anytime the media is constantly talking about a celeb I get tired of hearing about it. |

| I saw Tom on the Oprah show and could not believe that a man in his 40's would be acting like such a fool on national TV. Even Oprah looked shocked at his behaviour! I don't think it will last, but stranger things have happened.

I guess my age has to do with it, and plus.. I've had two 2-year relationships which ended in warfare and complete disaster. Maybe one of these days I'll learn something about love but yknow.. as of right now, that's how I see it! Hopefully this love thing will happen to me..sometime soon and I'll get married and be happy with 4 kids, too.

| Tom is short and gross. Katie is tall and gross. I despise both of them and wish them nothing but misfortune. Just a publicity stunt.

But, famous or not....I think it's a little creepy of their age difference. And she can't act! He's an awesome actor....is she trying to get talent by osmosis or something?

| I think it is sick and I think there might be something wrong with him. Is he losing it? Geesh. She looks like she is 15 and he looks like a pervert. I hope it is all just a stunt. JMHO lol |

| Love is strange If they are truly in love, I wish them all the best. My youngest daughter was so excited almost 4 years ago, she was not quite 20 and dating a divorced (no kids) man of 33. I was very apprehensive to say the least. However, four years later, I adore her boyfriend. Matt is a Canadian, he does not look his age (almost 37) and she is just 23. He treats my daughter like a queen, protects her, respects her and is just downright wonderful to her. I truly look forward to teh day that he becomes a full member of the family. At Thanksgiving four years ago, when she was telling us about Matt (they had just started dating), she tells us he is divorced, but no kids and her older brother (who is the same age as the b/f) pops up and says, "No he doesn't need any kids, he has YOU. LOL. |

| Marriage is hard enough (statistically 50% of marriages end in divorce), but add in hollywood and both famous actors...statistics show that they won't even get to the altar or the marriage will fail in less than a year.

| I can't believe these two. For starters Katie Holmes was on Dawsons Creek, the girl next door and she played in some movies but never really MADE it big. She was engaged to Chris Klien (american pie) and they were like the cutest couple EVER...and now all this sudden she's with Tom Cruise? Her movie Batman Begins and his new movie War of the Worlds are playing in theaters. My prediction is they will date until both movies are finished and then they'll make up some excuse that things didn't work out or whatever. I was watching Tom on Oprah and he was being so retarted! The kneel down on your knees and say "Yesssss..." thing was getting pretty old after 10x's! LMAO And Katie...(shakes head) poor girl. I have lost all respect for the girl. The way she acts in all interviews now is so bizzare. I watched her on Letterman the other night and she was so naieve and fake, something she's not normally. I dont know ...this is definitley something we have to keep our eyes on.

| I can't stand her. It for some reason bothers me that he is so much older and she looks like a 14 year old girl! They should follow Brad and Jenns example and keep it private. |
