Donating YT 3000 Club Member | Have you fixed your yorkie? Updated! Hi everybody! I just had my Bengi neutered so I was just wondering how many of you have already neutered/spayed your yorkie, or if you are planning on doing it or not. If not, maybe you can make a post explaining why... just curious, you know... |

| Rocco is fixed. Rosie isn't. She is so small I have been afraid to have it done.I had an appointment to have her spayed and a tooh pulled but I cancelled it. Luckly the tooth fell out on it's own. |

| Chloe & Sissy are going next Monday (Oct 23rd) at 9AM and we will be separated for the 1st time I've put it off because I was afraid it will change Chloe's personality. Also I have always thought that Chloe would make a superb mommy. Jake who lives around the block, wanted to marry her & have children. I have finally decided, I am too afraid to let her have children.I scheduled them together because they have never been separated as well and I thought since we have to keep them quiet for a while, they may as well be quiet together . I don't know why I am so scared about this procedure but I am Monday night I have to sleep alone

| We have planned on neutering Mojo, but just haven't yet. I guess we are just afraid to get it done, but we need to. We don't breed him or use him as a stud dog and he doesn't mark and such........so, we have just kept putting it off (nerves, I guess).

| Both our boys were neutered at 6 mos. They are both large sized yorkies, (9lbs and 12 lbs), too big to breed. Also we experienced about a week of them marking before they were neutered, and DID NOT like it one bit! Since neutering, neither will mark in the house.

| Hobbs is fixed and I'm waiting on Hootie to turn 6 months old before I get her fixed because I want to get her baby teeth pulled at the same time. I couldn't pick 2 choices, so I just picked the first one...I already have my pet spayed/neutered. |

| I got Roxie fixed the end of Aug. and she wasn't even broken. I'm glad I did. I wanted puppies, but since I wouldn't know what to do if something went wrong, and I couldn't bear to part with any, I decided it would be better for Roxy. No way would I endager her health just because I love puppies.

| ok keeping Chloe's & Sissy's breast just as they are, only fixing her is all. I feel the same as Roxy............ exactly and then I thought, I don't know what I am doing, It will cost the same to fix puppies, declaws, shots as it would to just buy another and let the professional breeders do their thing. I had to call off the wedding with Dolores and she was so disappointed for "Jake" I said, they can still be friends , she was so looking foward to a puppy from her baby Jake and my CHloe. She adores Chloe's personality. Sissy would probably makes terrors! paper fetishes included...

| Both of my Yorkies have been spayed/neutered. I really believe that they are healthier because of it. I did wait until they were about 9 months old, since they are small. With a good vet.... and a healthy dog... there shouldn't be any problems. |

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | Morgan has an appt this thursday to be spayed. she's six months old. since she's not going to be bred and she can't be shown i'm getting it done. its healthier for her and there is no reason not to get it done. she's only 3 1/2 pounds at best, and i'm not worried at all. she'll be fine.
