| Can Yorkies swim? My boyfriend asked me the other day if I thought Ferdinand would be able to swim. I've had big dogs all my life (black labs), which have always been able to swim... so I thought I would post a poll to see if Yorkies can swim!

| My male Bear can really well, he looks like an otter....lol Daisy would not last long in the water by herself as she tries to paddle with her front legs only and starts to sink. She does not like it one bit, in fact I think she gets terrified. So no more swimming for her. |

| My Chanel swims very well, and is fast at it too, while Chelsey can't swim, i think her hair might be too heavy, we tried again last sunday while we were in the water with her ofcourse, she just can't keep herself up. I feel sorry for her when i see her trying, so now it's life jacket for her every time we go near water.

| All three of mine have fallen in the pool and they all swim great. They really hate it though.
