Default Do you give your yorkie Missing Link?

Yaay! I've been reading so much about Missing Link that I finally had to get some for Ginger and Kirby. But it got me thinking, how many of you actually use Missing Link and what do you think? If you've been adding it to your dogs food what advantages have you seen. If you've stopped using it for any reason, why?

I've never tried it but I've heard wonderful things about it. Asked petsmart if they carry it and they had never heard of it...

I started about 3 months ago and there has been a big difference in Cali's coat and skin, she still scratches though. Her apeptite and general health has also improved. Cali eats only chicken so I feel the supplement is definatley helping. Cali's parents coats weren't the best and I feel Cali's coat has surpassed her parents coats. I definately think the Missin glInk is the reason for the improvements.

That's odd. They have it listed on their website! I'm surprised they said they'd never heard of it... Even the little no name corner pet stores in my area have it. Maybe you asked a brand new employee or something!

Well, our PetSmart hasn't been open for more than a couple of months...so these are new people. I just need to go in there and REALLY search the shelves.

Not all Petsmarts carry it - Mine here doesn't and neither does Petcetera... I had to go to Rens Pets Depot...

How long do they usually take it before you can start seeing a difference. Mine have been taking it a week now.

I've seen a big difference in Gracie's coat. I've read most people see a difference in about 3 weeks but I don't think I really noticed until a month or so. Gracie's hair is much shinier and growing faster. She also used to spit up a little yellow bile now and then and that has almost completely stopped. I got mine at PetSmart.

For those of you that do use it - how much do you give your dog each day? I only add about 1/5th a teaspoon in one of Oscar's meals per day (he's 3lbs and his meals are quite small) - is this too little to expect to see any results?

I definitely noticed that he started pooping better (more regularly and consistently tootsie rolls!) Which makes sense with the fibre content and they say it helps the digestive system. That in itself makes it worth it to me as I've had problems with Oscar's delicate digestive system.

I feed Dreama and Wosie 1/4 tsp on each meal (2xday), and their coats are definitely benefiting. I love what it has done to Wosie's especially, and I noticed a big difference about a month after she started on it.

I will never stop using it!
